Meet The Founder
An education counselor by profession and passion, Aakriti Jain has spent over 17 years guiding thousands of students to top universities worldwide. Indian by nationality and heart, she holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Delhi and an MBA in HR and Finance.
Having worked with leading education counseling houses—including analog giants, high-tech startups, prestigious HEIs, and immigration firms—Aakriti has gained firsthand insight into global admissions. Her expertise extends beyond International Education Counseling to cross-functional team training, client relations, stakeholder management, process setup, content development, marketing, and hiring.
Each opportunity has deepened her commitment to this noble profession, enabling her to make a meaningful impact on tens of thousands of students from diverse backgrounds by serving as an Academic Advisor, Career Guide, School Counselor, University-Appointed Representative, and Special Education & Learning Support Advisor.
Grateful for the platforms that enriched her understanding of diverse education systems and provided opportunities to mentor budding counselors, what began as a ‘favorite mistake’ evolved into a career built on trust, expertise, and ethical guidance.
With accreditations from the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), Professional International Education Resources (PIER), ICEF, IDP, and the British Council, she initially tested the waters with a few referrals before gaining confidence as her students secured admissions to top-tier institutions worldwide. Driven by their trust and aspirations, she transformed her passion project into a registered practice by founding RISE Higher Education, incorporated in the State of North Carolina and Maryland. Today, she is recognized as a 40 Under 40 leader in EdTech and has been featured in America’s Who’s Who.
